Red Bull/KTM Factory rider Marvin Musquin was definitely one to watch at Dodger Stadium for the third round of the AMA West Supercross Lites Series with his smooth riding style and impressive lap times that put him up front all night.

Rockstar Valli-Star Racing Yamaha team rider Ryan Morais was injured at the Los Angeles Supercross race on January 22, 2012. It happened in the first lap of the main event when Trey Canard hit a tuff block and was not able to jump the triple. Ryan was already committed to the jump and landed on Trey. Both riders were knocked unconscious. Ryan’s injuries were very substantial with fractured C1 C2 C6-7 T1, broken ribs, broken upper and lower jaw. |
Notice that Feld Motosports Newsletter has a conflict on the start time for the Oakland SX. CBS has been known, at least in my area, to change show start times for who knows what reasons. Showtime should be 12 noon ET but check.
If you compare the time on the image and the time in the text below. The image has the start time as 1:00pm ET and the text has it starting at 12:00pm ET. TVGuide.com has it listed at 12:00 pm ET.

Team Honda Muscle Milk rider Trey Canard was involved in a crash on the opening lap of last night’s Supercross event at Dodger Stadium. Canard injured his back in the incident, and an MRI this morning showed fractures the doctors are evaluating. Canard has 100-percent feeling in his legs, and is currently (Sunday) awaiting the decision by his doctors as to whether or not his injury requires surgery.
American Honda will release additional news on Canard’s condition as it becomes available.
