AMA Arenacross Series

Arenacross, which consists basically of downsized Supercross-style courses, placed into smaller venues such as ice hockey and basketball stadiums. The popularity of Arenacross is growing, since smaller cities that do not have large football and baseball stadiums that can host Supercross races.
Arenacross held its first open in 2006 which achieved high attendance counts.
The AMA is using AMA Toyota Arenacross series as a way for riders to transition from amateur racing to Supercross. Many Supercross privateers also race Arenacross.

Arenacross Legend Buddy Antunez Joins 2011 AMA Arenacross Series Broadcast Crew
AURORA , Ill. (December 27, 2010) Feld Motor Sports ℠ has announced the lineup of on-air talent for the 2011 AMA Arenacross Series broadcasts on SPEED. Highlighted by former series champion and Arenacross icon Buddy Antunez, who will serve as the shows analyst, the 2011 team also includes longtime veteran color commentator Jason Weigandt and Miss Arenacross Lindsey Scheltema, who will serve as the trackside reporter at all 14 races of the championship.
X-Tream Clean Products Announces its Product Sponsorship of Spinechillers Arenacross Racing Team
The Spinechillers Arenacross Racing Team is a professional motocross race team based in Chillicothe, Ohio and competes in the AMA Arenacross Series. Spinechillers is headed by Dallas Avery and is fielding a team of four riders for the 2011 season with Nathan Skaggs, Zach Ames, Patrick Massie and Willy Browning. They will be racing Honda 450 and 250 motorcycles backed by Honda of Fairfield in the Arenacross and Arenacross Lites classes.
AMSOIL Signs on as Official and Exclusive Oil of AMA Arenacross Series
