I agree with you about the IRS. Honda only has it on two of their ATVs. Honda has been slow to put newer technology on their ATVs. From what I have read they will put IRS on newer machines as they are released, including the next gen. Rancher. Honda utility machines have been set up more for work than trail riding, even though most people (including myself) use them for trail riding. As far as what they will go through, that depends on how they are set up – tires, skid plates, etc.

I would agree that Honda ATV’s may last longer, but the IRS on the Polaris, having rid mine for about 8 hours at a time, just makes for an amazingly smooth ride – and pain free. I can go through deeper, thicker mud than I could with my old Honda.

Ultimately though, it depends on what you want. If you want something you can beat the shit out of and be careless with, get a Honda. If you want something that you can take anywhere and ride all day with, get a Polaris.

Polaris ATVs are JUNK. Everyone I know that had one switched to Honda or Yamaha. The one exception was the guy who’s father owned the local Polaris dealership – and he was an idiot.

  23. HondaRecon08 on July 14, 2010 at 3:25 am

Well got to tell you great show , great show, because you i have to know that the Honda dealer Is “BEST ON EARTH” and also the polaris are just gay and it sucks balls , its like the fishers price (childrens toy) of atvs its the ford and kia and hyundai that suck dick. why people buy them idk its beyond my belief. and also lets get on to talking about fuel effectiveness.you V8 gas trash guzzeling, back stabbing, retarded, bastards. TOYOTA PRUS BITCH

polaris atv’s suck because they’re all automatic except for their sport atv’s.
