Rockstar Energy Racing Suzuki’s Jason Anderson, of Edgewood, N.M., won the Nuclear Cowboyz Holeshot Award with his teammate Martin Davalos, of Cairo, Ga., to start the Western Regional Supercross Lites Class. Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship’s return to the West Coast was greeted by 52,731 fans inside CenturyLink Field on Saturday night, for the 15th race of the 2012 season. Following a two-month break from Western Regional Supercross Lites Class competition, Star/Valli Yamaha’s Ryan Sipes, of Ekron, Ky., grabbed his first win of the season.

In the Eastern Regional Supercross Lites Class, GEICO Honda’s Justin Barcia, of Ochlocknee, Ga., secured his second-consecutive title with a fourth-place finish, while Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Darryn Durham, of Butler, Pa., raced to the first victory of his career.

After an extended time off due to injury to his shoulder, Honda's Andrew Short will be making his return this weekend in New Orleans for round 13 of the AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series. Shorty's been off a while and has dropped back in the points so at this point, it's just hoping for a good result as well as start getting ready for the 12-round outdoor series starting May 19th in Hangtown, California.

The 12th race of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, hosted 47,010 Canadian enthusiasts on Saturday night, to boast its largest crowd to date inside the Rogers Centre. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, of Poulsbo, Wash., captured his series-leading seventh win of the season to extend his points lead and inch closer to defending his Supercross Class title.
