After spending all day in the hospital Sunday, Chad Reed was able to give us a quick injury report Monday. Most of you already know and have seen the crash Chad took in the Supercross Saturday night in Texas. While chasing Ryan Villopoto early in the race Chad flipped the bike, watch video here, and sustained injuries that kept him from finishing the race.

A huge crowd of 58,782 fans welcomed the sixth race of the 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, season at Qualcomm Stadium. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, of Poulsbo, Wash., won his third race of the season tonight to extend his points lead to six. In the Western Regional Supercross Lites Class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson, of Menifee. The second visit of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series (also an FIM World Championship) to Angel Stadium, Anaheim, Los Angeles saw JGRMX’s James Stewart collect his third podium trophy in a row by finishing second to Ryan Villopoto on Saturday night. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, of Poulsbo, Wash., became the first rider of the 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, to win two races, leading all 20 laps of the Main Event tonight at Angel Stadium in front of a sold-out crowd.
