Okay, so last year the First Annual Checkered Past Pre-Party and Vintage Motocross Bike show before Anaheim 1 (the first Supercross Event of the season) was a good start. Planned in less than two weeks before the party, it was only a practice lap. We're already on the gas, planning this years party. Definitely not a practice lap. Last year was fun, a vintage motocross bike show, a reunion of old School, So. Cal. Pro racers and t-shirts give-away. Brad Boyle brought bikes from his immaculately restored Vintage Bike Collection and Mark Dooley brought some from his "original paint" vintage collection.

It was a great, fun evening of bench racing, before walking over to the Supercross race.

This year, we are taking over the whole restaurant from 12:00 noon until 7:00pm. Not just the banquet rooms. The Vintage Bike show is going to be bigger, better and this year, and throughout the restaurant. Tom White is bringing bikes from his world famous "Early Years of Motocross Museum, Brad Boyle Motor Sports is bringing back even more from his collection, and Vintage Motocross bikes from other World Class Collectors. We have a huge list of Old So. Cal. Pros who will be there.

But, as fun as the Vintage MX show, pre-party and a night of AMA Supercross sounds, this year we are doing something even more important and substantial...

This years party is going to benefit the "High Hopes" Head Injury Program. We will request a small donation at the door. A t-shirt autograph signing session (must buy an event shirt for $15 with all profits benefiting "High Hopes". Additionally, we will donate $10.00 for every Checkered Past t-shirt sold on the Checkered Past Website from now until the party to "High Hopes".
